| Pickens County Beekeeper of the Year requirements: |

| 1. Must be a member of the Pickens County Beekeepers Assn. 2. Must be 20 years or older. 3. Must be currently involved in Beekeeping. 4. Must have promoted beekeeping by means of TV, newspapers, classroom presentations, mentoring to young beekeepers, or mentoring new beekeepers. 5. Must be voted on by Pickens County Beekeepers Assn. 6. Nomination form must be filled out and signed by person doing the nominating. Click HERE for form. |

| Pickens County Young Beekeeper of the Year requirements: |

| 1. Must be a member of the Pickens County Beekeepers Assn. 2. Must be between the ages of 8 and 20 years. 3. Must be recommended by one of the following: A. A member of the Pickens County Beekeepers B. A 4-H leader C. A Boy Scout or Girl Scout leader D. An FFA sponsor E. A school teacher or college professor in any agriculturally related field. 4. Must be currently involved in Beekeeping. 5. Must have introduced a presenter or lead a presentation for other young beekeepers. 6. Must be voted on by Pickens County Beekeepers Assn. 7.
